The Canadian Connection

The Pittsburgh Penguins have two back-to-back away games in Canada.  Tonight at 10: 00 PM, the Penguins face the slumping Edmonton Oilers.  The Oilers are (1-2) in their last three games:

St. Louis Blues (L 5-2)

Tampa Bay Lightning (W 5-3)

Anaheim Ducks (L 5-2)

The Calgary Flames, the Penguins' Saturday night opponent, are also coming off a (1-2) record in their last three games, including two embarrassing shut out losses.

Colorado Avalanche (W 4-3)

Phoenix Coyotes (L 6-0)

St. Louis Blues (L 5-0)

The Penguins, coming off three straight victories (i.e. see below), should not take either one of these Canadian clubs lightly.  After all, both teams will be hungry to pick up a victory.

New York Rangers (W 5-2)

Winnipeg Jets (W 6-5)

Vancouver Canucks (W 5-4 SO)

If you happen to be in Vegas tonight, you should parlay the Penguins to win and the Penguins over 5.5 goals. Don't forget, both games start at 10:00 PM on ROOT Sports.
